As a third year orthopedic resident, this has been one of my favorite “go-to” resources. The chapters are concise which make it easy to read through before cases but the topics discuss everything you might need to know. I love how it gives some background info for the pathology along with surgical steps, pearls, and postop course along with potential complications and dangers. For more controversial topics, it often provides multiple different “perspectives” with different techniques. The set is huge, but it covers all the good stuff. I regularly use the book itself, but I also really enjoy having the e-book on my phone and iPad to reference on the go. I also use Rockwood and Greens fractures in adults/children but find that it can be a bit dense to get through compared to this one.
